Adjusting the grinder setting to a finer setting or choosing a finer ground coffee can help prevent low pressure during extraction. For a double espresso, we recommend using 14g of ground coffee.

In order to reduce channeling and spurting during extraction, we suggest using a WDT tool to break up clumps in the ground coffee. Tamping the ground coffee evenly is also crucial, as uneven tamping can cause water to favor one side. Additionally, it is important to remember to place the PUCK SCREEN for optimal results.

Our 51mm diameter portafilter is specifically designed to fit baskets of this size, compatible with CASABREWS CM5418 and 3700 Series machines. It comes with a double cup filter basket and a 51mm espresso puck screen. The puck screen helps prevent coffee grounds from sticking to the brewing head, ensuring a clean and efficient extraction process.
